Citadel of the House of Varnak.
The House of Varnak was an old and noble house of the Klingon Empire. In the mid 24th century, its head was Koradan.
Koradan attempted to join the House of Varnak with the House of Jorn by having his daughter, Eral, betrothed to Vranx, of the House of Jorn. However, Eral dishonored herself and Vranx by bearing the son of Kylor, a servant of the House of Varnak. Eral was exiled from her House, and the union fell apart.
In 2375, the House of Varnak gave its support to Morjod during his attempted coup of Chancellor Martok. When Martok defeated Morjod, he had the House of Varnak dissolved, and all its members put to death. (GKN novel: A Good Day to Die; KE novel: A Burning House)
