HuDyuQ was a mountainous planet within the Klingon Empire, the location of a weapons development facility of the Klingon Defense Force.

In early 2376, Tiral, the former military governor of taD, and Commander Drex, first officer of the IKS Gorkon, were reassigned to HuDyuQ. Drex saw the assignment as a major affront and eventually contacted his father, Chancellor Martok, son of Urthog. Martok stated that he would not contest Captain Klag's decision to leave Drex behind on a ground assignment, leading Drex to criticize Martok's leadership of the House of Martok.
