Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Hub Station 6 was a Starfleet space station facility located in a neighboring system to the sites of the Orion research platform and the planet Orgone in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

In the year 2268, Hub Station 6 conducted an annual engineering inspection of the Starfleet starship USS Enterprise. Procedures included select maneuverability tests chosen especially for the heavy cruiser, which made Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott proud.

Shortly afterward, the ship departed at warp six, responding to a distress call from the Orion research platform. Circumstances there left the Enterprise damaged, and it was towed back to Hub Station 6 for repairs by the USS Exeter. (TOS comic: "Trial by Fire!")
