The Hundred was a group of changelings sent out into the galaxy by the Founders to try and attract the attention of the Founders' creator god, the Progenitor. (DS9 novel: The Dominion: Olympus Descending)

At least three of the Hundred made it as far as the Alpha Quadrant: Odo, who likely travelled through the Bajoran wormhole, as he was discovered in the Denorios Belt; Laas, who ended up on the planet Varala; and a third changeling which also wound up in the vicinity of Bajor but died shortly after its discovery. (DS9 episodes: "Emissary", "Chimera", "The Begotten")

In 2371, Odo became the first of the Hundred to return to the Founder homeworld, though after meeting his people he opted to return to the Alpha Quadrant. (DS9 episode: "The Search")

By 2376 both Odo and Laas had returned the Great Link on the new Founder homeworld. Odo felt frustrated that the Link did not listen to his ideas of greater tolerance and peace, and thus spent much time separated from the Link. Laas spent more time linked but also joined Odo from time to time and acted as a mouthpiece for the rest of the Link to Odo. (DS9 novel: Avatar, Book Two)

Later in 2376 Laas delivered another two of the members of the Hundred to the Link. (DS9 novel: The Dominion: Olympus Descending)

In 2384, Odo discovered a member of the Hundred known as Moon, who died soon after meeting him. (ST - The Fall novel: Revelation and Dust)
