Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Hung 'Chu was a human Starfleet lieutenant commander in the 23rd century. He was described as having a stout build, long black hair, and many scars. (FASA RPG module: The Strider Incident)

History[]

Hung 'Chu was born in the Biro region of the planet Dinil. He came from a very large family, with ten older siblings in Starfleet. Following in their footsteps, he joined Starfleet as well - however, he failed his first cadet cruise, due to erratic performance. His first posting after graduation was to the USS Thranstor, where he served for four years.

After that, he was transferred to Defense Outpost 1121, where he became Security chief of the orbital station. Like many station personnel, Hung 'Chu developed a dislike for station commander Captain Carl Curtis - however, he made it a point to never question orders. A large amount of his role as Security Chief involved guarding the station's supply of drill bits, which he felt was a waste of his ability. When Kristine Reardon was arrested, Hung 'Chu was in charge of keeping her secured. After an attempt on her life was made by station officer Darvin Harris, Hung 'Chu investigated the incident personally, and doubled security around Reardon. (FASA RPG module: The Strider Incident)
