Hydrocortilene was an analgesic used to treat pain in the cranial or upper spinal regions. Its most common application was ordinary headaches. (STO - Cold War mission: "Cold Comfort")

In 2373 the Doctor used a hypospray containing a 3% hydrocortilene solution to treat Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres' headache. (VOY episode: "The Swarm")

Hydrocortilene was one of the drugs stocked by a Deferi freighter that was attacked by the Breen under Thot Trel in 2409. (STO - Cold War mission: "Cold Comfort")
