Doctor Leonard McCoy successfully published four articles in the journal during the 2250s, 2260s, and 2270s.
In 2276, while on shore leave, McCoy put the final touches for what would become his fifth submission to the journal, which he'd first present as a dissertation. He took extra care to remove typos after a memorable glitch messed up a routine report years earlier aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise.
