- For other uses, see Vakoc.
IKF Vakoc was a Klingon Empire-registry freighter starship (in Klingon civilian service) in the late 23rd century, circa the 2280s and/or 2290s decade.
Service history and disposition[]
In particular, Vakoc was of the light freighter (FSML) modification of the 2280s-90s Klingon freighter. This vessel had the capability of being outfitted as either a disruptor-armed light freighter (FSDs with disruptor weapons) or a drone-armed light freighter (FSDr with drone defenses).
During an era of increased tensions with nearby states such as the Federation, the Klingon Imperial Fleet had the capability of drafting this vessel into service as a Klingon Q-ship (FQS light Q-ship modification). There was a further possible refit involving outfitting the Vakoc as a heavy Q-ship (FQL). (ST video games: Starfleet Command, Starfleet Command II: Empires at War, Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates)
- No history or definitive final fate is established for this vessel as its name was randomly selected for a Klingon freighter on the playing field by the SFC games' software. It is possible there is some relation between this ship and two other vessels, the IKF Truncy Vakoc and the IKF Truncy.
