For other uses, see Azetbur.

The IKS Azetbur was a Qang-class Klingon heavy cruiser starship in Imperial Defense Force service in the 2370s, named for the late chancellor, Azetbur. (TNG novel: Diplomatic Implausibility)

In 2376, the Azetbur was part of the Empire's large-scale exploration of the Kavrot sector. As part of that mission, they surveyed the Klorgat system, and sent the results of their detailed scans of Klorgat IV to Qo'noS. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)

However, during this mission, they were called to join a fleet headed to the planet Elabrej, responding to the destruction of the IKS Kravokh. The Azetbur was subsequently destroyed in battle against the Elabrej Hegemony. (GKN novel: Enemy Territory)

The Azetbur was initially established in the Klingon Glossary of Diplomatic Implausibility, though not in the text of the novel.
