The IKS Gantin (IKS-302) was a Klingon Raptor-class scout starship in Imperial service in the 22nd century. (WizKids module: Tactics)

History[]

In October, 2165, in preparation for a sneak attack against the United Federation of Planets, the Gantin was placed under the command of Captain Worik by Councillor Deqan of the Klingon High Council. Captain Worik was assigned a secret mission to get captured by Starfleet and give them intelligence on the planned invasion, thus preventing a war that the Klingon Empire was not ready for.

The Gantin engaged the Federation starship USS Essex in battle, under the pretense of trying to disable a Starfleet listening post. Eventually, the Daedalus-class starship managed to disable and cripple the Klingon raptor. With his crew taken prisoner, Captain Worik "grudgingly" revealed that the Klingon fleet's first target against Starfleet and the Federation was Ardan IV.
