The IKS K't'inga was a 25th century Klingon starship, the tier 3-rated K't'inga-class refit battlecruiser prototype in Imperial Klingon Defense Force service in the 2400s and 2410s decades. (STO - Empire mission: "The Hunt is On")
Service history[]
The IKS K't'inga was a variant of its 23rd century namesake IKS K't'inga, the lead ship of the K't'inga-class battlecruiser and variant of the D7 class. Compared to the older K't'inga, the refit was a flatter, elongated design. Among the T3-rated Klingon battlecruisers, equipment and combat strength matched. The modular design of the related classes enabled the IKS K't'inga to exchange hull components with its non-refit counterparts. The refit K't'inga had entered service by the year 2409, during the height of the Federation-Klingon War of 2405-2410. (STO - Empire mission: "The Hunt is On")
From 2410 onwards, the K't'inga represented its configuration of the K't'inga class on the shipyards interfaces operated by New Romulus Shipyards, Klingon Defense Force Order of Builders, Dominion Vanguard Fleet and Starfleet Shipyards Operations at Khitomer Alliance facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy.
