The IKS Klolode (registry IKC-4176, alternately known as the IKS Voh'tahk or IKS Ch'dan, with one or more of its names translating from Klingonese as Thousand-Taloned Death) was a D7 class Klingon battle cruiser starship in Imperial Klingon Defense Force service in the 23rd century.

In 2267, when war between the Federation and the Klingons was averted, the vessel was commanded by Captain Kang. (TOS comic: "Four Thousand Throats...")

In 2268, the vessel was heavily damaged by (*), killing most of the crew. The survivors were forced to abandon the ship, and were beamed on board the USS Enterprise. The Klingon ship was so severely damaged that it was a hazard to the area, and Captain James T. Kirk ordered its destruction. (TOS episode: "Day of the Dove"; ST - Klingons - Blood Will Tell comic: "Issue 4"; ST novel: Excelsior: Forged in Fire; DS9 novel: The Fall of Terok Nor)

In 2269, Kang took his vessel to the dilithium mine at Beta Thoridar to investigate unrest among the mine workers. Kang ordered his crew to provide additional security officers to help the mine supervisors put down the violence. (ST novella: The Unhappy Ones)

The vessel, which went unnamed in the episode, was given the name Klolode in many early fan publications. This led to Kang's new command in the novel Pawns and Symbols being named the IKS Klolode II and for this vessel to be established as Klolode in Forged in Fire. The Decipher RPG module: Starships uses the name IKS Ch'dan. The name Voh'tahk is used in "Blood Will Tell, Issue 4", "Four Thousand Throats...", The Unhappy Ones, Second Nature and Point of Divergence. In the novel The Fall of Terok Nor it was called the Thousand-Taloned Death, which can be assumed to be a translation of one of this vessel's names.
