IKS Korinar

Specifications[]

Around stardate 73XX.6 (circa 2270), the Korinar was rated a level 1 battle group scout. It featured room for two officers and slots for two weapons or additional systems. Its deflector shields were rated 90, while the structural integrity field, or hull strength, topped at 245. (ST video game: Trexels mission: Skirmish)

History[]

As part of Federation Starfleet operations in the Trexelian Expanse, the IKS Korinar participated in the war games conducted by Starfleet and allied vessels from the 23rd and 24th centuries. (ST video game: Trexels mission: Skirmish)

The Korinar also saw action in conflicts with the Klingon Empire and Cardassian Union. (ST video game: Trexels mission: Events)

In 2372, the Korinar warned the Federation runabout USS Yukon away from investigating an apparent explosion of a cloaked object, claiming that the KDF was conducting military exercises. In fact, the Korinar took part in a Klingon effort to mine the Bajoran system. (DS9 episode: "Sons of Mogh")
