The IKS Mahk'tar (IKC-11452) was a Klingon Empire starship, a Vor'cha-class battle cruiser in Klingon Defense Force service in the late 24th century, in the 2360s decade.
Service history and disposition[]
The Mahk'tar was lost while in orbit of the planet Minos on stardate 45648.9. (Decipher RPG module: Starships)
- Although most other Vor'cha-class starships are referred to as attack cruisers in canon, the Mahk'tar and other Vor'cha-class vessels listed by the Decipher RPG as battle cruisers. It is not clear if this is because they are outfitted differently or if the two cruiser terms had become somewhat synonymous.
