The IKS Na'Qjej was retrofitted for service in the 25th century and the first starship equipped with the glorious charge universal console, a type of special weapon that improved kinetic damage and aided the Na'Qjej in ramming another vessel. A starship trait initially unique to the Na'Qjej was ceaseless momentum, which meant that a battle-hardened Na'Qjej gained kinetic damage boost from firing a torpedo. To serve as spearhead in conflict, the ship's hull was durable enough to brush opponents aside. Abilities inherent to the intel starship aided in keeping this vessel's operations undetected and enabled surgical strikes. The Na'Qjej was fitted with a cloaking device and active sensor arrays to gather intel. Upon introduction to service in the Khitomer Alliance in the year 2410, the IKS Na'Qjej acted as a Klingon counterpart to the Section 31-built Federation Turing-class intel science destroyer USS Turing.
