The IKS R'kang (IKC-11478) was a Klingon Empire starship, a Vor'cha-class battle cruiser in Klingon Defense Force service in the late 24th century, in the 2360s decade.
Service history and disposition[]
The R'kang was assigned to continue the Klingon exploration of Minos on stardate 46127.4, in the year 2369. (Decipher RPG module: Starships)
- Although most other Vor'cha-class starships are referred to as attack cruisers in canon, the R'kang and other Vor'cha-class vessels listed by the Decipher RPG as battle cruisers. It is not clear if this is because they are outfitted differently or if the two cruiser terms had become somewhat synonymous.
