The IKS Sompek was a Klingon Vakk-class starship in service in the 24th century.
History[]
In the 2340s, the Sompek was commanded by Kang. In 2346, Chancellor Kravokh's obsession with Ch'gran resulted in the diversion of the Sompek away from Khitomer as it was attacked by Romulans. (TLE novel: The Art of the Impossible).
In the 2370s, the Sompek was under the command of Captain Larok. In early 2376, the Sompek was in position near the planet taD while the IKS Gorkon engaged a small fleet of Kreel ships, but was unable to join the battle. (TNG novel: Diplomatic Implausibility)
