For the mirror universe counterpart, see AKS Vo'Quv.
For other uses, see Vo'Quv.

The IKS Vo'Quv was a 25th century Klingon starship, the tier 5-rated Vo'Quv-class carrier prototype in Imperial Klingon Defense Force service by the 2400s decade. (STO - Empire mission: "The Hunt is On")

Service history[]

The Klingon Defense Force launched the IKS Vo'Quv around the turn of the century. At the time, this carrier was the largest ship class fielded by the Klingon Empire. Visually, this vessel resembled an enlarged, bulked-up B'rel-class Klingon bird-of-prey. (STO website: Ships of the Line)

In the year 2403 the Vo'Quv transported Klingon Chancellor J'mpok to Gornar to meet with King Slathis of the Gorn Hegemony for diplomatic talks. (STO website: The Path to 2409)

By 2409, the standard embarked craft held in the ship's pair of hangar bay were To'Duj-class fighters. At the time, the Vo'Quv shared its technical specifications with the IKS VoD'leh, lead ship of the VoD'leh-subclass variant of the Vo'Quv class. (STO - Empire mission: "The Hunt is On")

From 2410 onwards, flag officers of the Khitomer Alliance could deploy the Vo'Quv alongside other spacecraft for assignments across the Milky Way Galaxy's quadrants as part of Operation: Delta Rising's four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")

The Vo'Quv represented its class on the shipyards interfaces operated by New Romulus Shipyards, KDF Order of Builders and Starfleet Shipyards Operations at Alliance facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy. (STO - Refractions missions: "Explore the Flotilla", "The Hunt is On", "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

In the year 2411, during the time of the Klingon Civil War between J'mpok and House Mo'Kai, the Vo'Quv and VoD'leh were upgraded to tier 6 support carriers, matching the qualifications of the Vo'devwl-class and its lead ship, the IKS Vo'devwl. (STO - House Divided mission: "The Hunt is On")

Mirror universe[]

In the mirror universe, the AKS Vo'Quv was a tier-5 Vo'Quv-class science carrier operated by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance by the year 2409. Unlike the primary universe, the AKS VoD'leh represented the Vo'Quv carriers in the Klingon Alliance. (STO website: New Romulus: Dominion Lock Box)
