The IKS baSro' was a Klingon starship, the Craeul-class frigate bird of prey prototype, in Klingon Empire service in the 26th and later 25th century. The baSro' was an auxiliary vessel attached to the IKS Durgath, a tier 6 Durgath-class temporal dreadnought battlecruiser. (STO - Reckoning mission: "26 Century Dreadnoughts Stats!")
Service history and disposition[]
Both the IKS baSro' and its Romulan counterpart RRW Craeul were based on the USS Altair design, which entered production as the Federation Cestus-class frigate. These classes entered service alongside their motherships in the 26th century, at some point before the Battle of Procyon V.
Due to the Temporal Cold War, the baSro' was pulled into the early 25th century alongside its mothership Durgath, where it joined Alpha Quadrant Alliance service under the aegis of the Klingon Defense Force. All Durgath-class dreadnoughts subsequently carried baSro'-class frigates in their launch bays by default. (STO - Reckoning mission: "26 Century Dreadnoughts Stats!", admiralty system)
