The IRW Leahval was a Scimitar-class dreadnought warbird in the service of the Romulan Star Navy in the 2400s. She was the personal starship of Empress Sela and the flagship of the Romulan Star Empire.

History

According to Tal Shiar records the Leahval ferried Sela to the conference on Khitomer in 2409. (STO mission: "Turning Point")

The Leahval later traveled to the Delta Corvi system to take Vrimek, a Romulan with ties to the Reman Resistance, into custody. (STO mission: "Cloak and Dagger")

The Leahval's final sighting occurred in the Brea system, after Sela had traveled there to meet with Colonel Hakeev of the Tal Shiar. The meeting was interrupted by an assault from the other Alpha Quadrant powers and a Reman force led by Obisek's flagship Zdenia. During the subsequent surface attack on Brea III Hakeev was killed either by Obisek or a Romulan Republic captain.

Sela returned to her ship and the Leahval and RSE reinforcements attacked the allied fleet, but the Empress' opponents proved too strong and the warbird suffered heavy damage. At that moment a Herald Quas-class starship entered the system through an Iconian gateway embedded in a nearby asteroid. The starship ensnared the Leahval in a tractor beam and towed it back through the gateway. (STO mission: "Cutting the Cord")

The Leahval was taken to an Elachi space station in the Delta Quadrant and dismantled, and its crew consumed as Elachi reproductive hosts. (STO - The Delta Quadrant mission: "What's Left Behind")
