In the mirror universe, the ISS Chimera was a 25th century Terran Empire starship, a Chimera-class heavy destroyer in Imperial Starfleet service in the 2400s[1] and 2410s[2] decades. (STO - Cardassian Struggle missions: "Jabberwocky", "Counterpoint")
Service history and disposition[]

In the primary universe, Federation Starfleet launched the USS Chimera in the year 2407. (STO Issue 02: "USS Chimera")
In one permutation of the mirror universe, the Terran Rebellion overthrew the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance and established the Second Terran Empire. When contact occurred between the two universes, Starfleet learned that the Terrans had somehow duplicated its technology. This included the Chimera, which was fitted with the dynamic tactical system.[3] That allowed the Chimera to fire a tachyon inversion beam in regenerative mode and enter tactical mode to fire its phaser lotus.
The ship bore the red markings and NC registry number prefix of the resurgent Terran Empire. (STO - Cardassian Struggle mission: "Jabberwocky")
In 2409, the Chimera was part of Captain Leeta's flotilla, led by ISS Fortuna, waiting in the Badlands to prevent an Allied starship from returning the Orb of Possibilities to Vedek Krin on Bajor. The Allies forced Leeta and her fleet into retreat, and exchanged the orb successfully. (STO - Cardassian Struggle mission: "Jabberwocky")
From that year onward and into 2410, the Chimera was among Admiral Leeta's fleets during invasions of the primary universe. This included the attack on Deep Space 9 from a transposed Terok Nor and incursions into the Badlands. (STO - New Dawn missions: "Counterpoint", "Badlands Battlezone")
