For other uses, see Cygnus.

In the mirror universe, the ISS Cygnus (NCC-92190) was a 25th century Terran Empire starship, initially an Andromeda-class exploration cruiser[2], and around stardate 88168.8[2] one of the Cygnus-class[1] prototypes alongside the ISS Pegasus[2], in Imperial Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO website: Shadow's Advance: The 12th Anniversary Terran Bundle!)

Service history and disposition[]

The Cygnus was active in the 2410s. (STO website: Shadow's Advance: The 12th Anniversary Terran Bundle!)

Lord Baron Vice Admiral S.J. Hemphill of the Advanced Starship Design Bureau (ASDB) issued a performance report about the Cygnus-class Pegasus and other recently refitted ships to Imperial Starfleet on stardate 88168.8 in the year 2411. Due to ionic interference, this subspace communique was corrupted and superimposed with its primary universe counterpart, the USS Pegasus, allowing Starfleet Intelligence to learn about the ship appraisals therein.

The USS Cygnus.

The Pegasus started as an Andromeda-class exploration cruiser and was redesigned during repairs in the aftermath of a battle. ASDB engineers proposed a variety of upgrades and structural modifications. Power systems were supplemented as well. The upgrades turned the Pegasus into a heavy explorer capable of long-range exploration and defense. (STO website: Reflections: Remastering 25th Century Starships)

These modifications also applied to the ISS Cygnus, which lent its name to the class. Its prime counterpart was the USS Cygnus. (STO website: Shadow's Advance: The 12th Anniversary Terran Bundle!)
