In the mirror universe, the ISS Dakota (NCC-42043) was a Terran Empire starship, a Centaur-class frigate in Starfleet service in the 25th century. In the 2400s decade, the Dakota participated in Captain James O'Brien's invasions of the primary universe. (STO - Cardassian Struggle mission: "Tear of the Prophets")
History[]
In the year 2409, the Dakota entered the primary universe alongside the ISS Liebig and ISS Monterey after being called upon by Gul Oran, a Cardassian officer serving the True Way and ally of the Terran Empire, using the Orb of Possibilities. Captain Shelly of the Liebig destroyed the gul's disabled ship, the CDS Praxeth, due to his failure to deliver the orb. The three ships departed, leaving a warning that the Terran involvement with the primary universe was not at an end. (STO - Cardassian Struggle mission: "Tear of the Prophets")
