In the mirror universe, the ISS Equinox (NCC-97270) was a 25th century Terran Empire starship, a Terran Equinox-class[1] science vessel based on the 24th century Nova-class in Imperial Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO - Reflections mission: "Badlands Battlezone")

In the year 2411, the Equinox was part of the Imperial fleets under Admiral Leeta that invaded the Badlands in the primary universe in an effort to conquer the Alpha Quadrant. Ships of the Khitomer Alliance, organized by Commander Mesi Achebe of the USS Malinche, engaged the Equinox, and other ships of its type and the Terran fleet, in a concerted counterattack.
