For the primary universe counterpart, see USS Gryphon (prototype).

In the mirror universe, the ISS Gryphon (NCC-94996) was a Terran Empire starship, a Gryphon-class patrol escort in Imperial Starfleet service in the 25th century. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

History[]

In the year 2409, the Gryphon was part of a flotilla assembled by Captain Leeta in the Badlands. When an Allied ship from the primary universe entered the mirror universe through an interdimensional portal, the Gryphon and the other ships engaged it but were defeated. This forced Leeta to intercede, but her ship, the ISS Fortuna, was forced to retreat. The Allied ship then proceeded on its course to Bajor unhindered. (STO - Cardassian Struggle mission: "Through the Looking Glass")

Following the end of the Iconian War in both universes in 2410, the Gryphon participated in Admiral Leeta's invasion of the primary universe and was part of the fleet attacking Deep Space 9. The Alpha Quadrant Alliance defeated the Terrans and forced their fleet, and Terok Nor, back through an interdimensional portal into their own universe. (STO - Future Proof mission: "Counterpoint")
