In the mirror universe, the ISS Hood was a 23rd century Terran Empire Constitution-class cruiser starship in the service of the Imperial Starfleet. (TOS video game: Shattered Universe)
In the year 2268, the Hood was under the command of Captain Martinez when she was sent into a wargame with her sister ships ISS Enterprise, ISS Lexington and ISS Potemkin against the ISS Excalibur, which was under the control of the M-5 computer. During the wargames, the M-5 computer supposedly "malfunctioned" and launched an assault with full weapons power against the Enterprise. The Enterprise was able to survive the assault by arming the self destruction packages of Hood and Lexington, and later Captain Spock was able to have his first officer, Commander Montgomery Scott, detonate them, causing all three vessels to be destroyed.
