For other uses, see Nixon.

In the mirror universe, the ISS Nixon was a Terran Empire starship, a Constitution-class battle cruiser in service to Starfleet in the late 23rd century. By the 2280s decade, the Nixon was under the command of Captain Trask.

This vessel was presumably named for the mirror universe counterpart of Richard Nixon, former president of the United States of America.

History[]

In 2285, the Nixon led an Imperial task force sent to find the USS Excelsior. The Nixon discovered the Excelsior, but the entire task force was disabled by the nullifying projector set up by the Excelsior. The HMS Bounty and a Romulan bird-of-prey fired on and heavily damaged the Nixon. Captain Trask ordered a distress call sent out even when the power to send the call would use up the power to life support. (TOS - The Mirror Universe Saga comic: "Behind Enemy Lines!")
