In the mirror universe, the ISS Potemkin was a 23rd century Terran Empire Constitution-class cruiser starship in the service of the Imperial Starfleet. (TOS video game: Shattered Universe)
Service history[]
In the year 2268, the Potemkin was sent into a wargame with her sister ships ISS Enterprise, ISS Lexington and ISS Hood against the ISS Excalibur, which was under the control of the M-5 computer. During the wargames, the M-5 computer supposedly "malfunctioned" and launched an assault with full weapons power against the Enterprise. The Enterprise was able to survive the assault, and later Captain Spock suspected it was an attempt to assassinate him. However, Potemkin was not so lucky as the Excalibur destroyed her with all hands. (TOS - Mirror Universe novel: The Sorrows of Empire)
