In the primary universe, the Galaxy-class cruiser USS Venture (NCC-71854) helped defend Deep Space 9 during the Federation-Klingon War of 2372-2373 and the Dominion War. (DS9 episode & novelization: The Way of the Warrior)
By the 2400s, the Second Terran Empire regularly invaded the primary universe. The Galaxy X-class dreadnought cruiser ISS Venture (NCC-170147) served as one of the lead ships during the attacks on Federation starbases and the Romulan Republic's Vauthil Station in the year 2409. Active service[]
In the year 2411, the Venture was part of the Imperial fleet operating from Terok Nor under Admiral Leeta. Terok Nor and its ships poured themselves into the B'hava'el star system in the primary universe, leading to battles between Terok Nor and Deep Space 9. Leeta called in the ISS Venture and the 29th century temporal dreadnought ISS Paradox reinforcements. A Khitomer Alliance task force directed by Commander Sarish Minna and led by the USS Defiant defended DS9 and forced the Terrans back into their own realm.
