In the mirror universe, the ISS Wells (NCV-574332-K) was a 29th century Terran Empire starship, a Mobius-class temporal destroyer in Imperial Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Counterpoint")

Service history and disposition[]

USS Wells 2769

The USS Wells-A in 2769.

The Wells was a sister ship of the ISS Mobius, with whom it shared its NCV registry number and "-K" suffix, implying they were the 12th ships to bear their respective names. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Counterpoint")

Its primary universe counterpart was the Federation Starfleet Wells-class temporal science vessel USS Wells (NCV-474438-A). (STO - Future Proof mission: "Time and Tide")

ISS Wells

The Wells-K at Deep Space 9.

29th century Imperial Starfleet forces travelled back to the year 2409 to support Leeta, recently promoted from captain to admiral, to ensure the defeat of the Iconians and that the Empire's future history would come to pass. Admiral Leeta had her flagship, the ISS Enterprise-F refitted with uptime technology. The future Terrans became Leeta's allies in her quest for power. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Message from Another Universe")

In the 2410s, Starfleet's Mobius-class ships operated from the Mobius Shipyards, under the auspices of Leeta's ally Lieutenant Whetu. (STO - Agents of Yesterday short story: "Aftershocks")

Terok Nor mirror

Home base Terok Nor in 2411.

In 2410 and 2411[1], Admiral Leeta led attacks on Deep Space 9 in the primary universe on behalf of the Emperor of the Terran Empire. Launched from Terok Nor, a combined fleet of 25th and 29th century Imperial ships attacked DS9 in waves, including the ISS Wells-K and the ISS Mobius-K. Led by the USS Defiant, a Khitomer Alliance task force engaged the Terran forces and landed troops on the hostile Nor-class space station. Admiral Leeta summoned reinforcing dreadnoughts from her universe in a bid to turn the tide but the Alliance forces defeated the ISS Paradox and its escorts, forcing Leeta to pull Terok Nor and her remaining ships back to her own universe. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Counterpoint")

Background[]

  • With the launch of season "Reflections", the default Terran Empire ship "mob" was replaced, with the exception of the Mobius-class ships in "Counterpoint". This sets the yellow-striped temporal destroyers apart from the other, red-clad Terran ships.
