Iden was a Hirogen hologram in the 2370s. He was given the appearance of a Bajoran male and a member of the Bajoran Militia.
Biography[]
Following the cease-fire between the Hirogen and the Federation starship USS Voyager in 2374, Iden was created by Hirogen engineer Donik. (ST reference: The Star Trek Encyclopedia)
For three years, Iden had the misfortune of being the outpost's alpha's favorite prey. However, he and other holograms were given modifications that gave them sentience and allowed them to turn off their safety protocols. Iden was then able to adapt and kill the alpha. He then escaped and looked for other holograms. He was then inspired by the Lokirrim's holograms' insurgency to fight the Hirogen. Iden then led several attacks on training facilities.
