The Avenger within the expanse.
The Ikolis Expanse was a region of space located between the Briar Patch and the Klingon Empire, located in Sector 441. The Expanse is known as a hazard for navigation with unstable wormholes, quantum singularities and metaphasic nebulae.
In 2376, Ambassador Worf took the USS Avenger into the Expanse as a shortcut to Qo'noS. On arrival, the Avenger was attacked by several Klingon warships led by Toral. As he was heavily outgunned, Worf ordered the Avenger to enter into several dangerous nebulae in order to avoid Toral's ships. After visiting several derelict ships and using them to help protect the Avenger they safely arrived in Klingon territory. (TNG video game: Armada)
