For the regular universe counterpart, see Iliana Ghemor.

In the mirror universe, Iliana Ghemor was a female Cardassian.

The alternate version of Iliana Ghemor was born to a father who led her universe's version of the Obsidian Order ruthlessly, pressing Iliana into joining it, and eventually convincing her to abandon the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance to join the Terran Rebellion against it. In 2376, she was assigned to assassinate Intendant Kira Nerys. In order to achieve this goal, Ghemor made contact with the religious authority on Bajor, which had been practicing in secret since the Terran Empire conquered Bajor centuries earlier. During this encounter, Ghemor had an Orb experience, which revealed to her the threat posed by her counterpart, who was planning to fulfill Trakor's First Prophecy and become the Emissary of the Prophets in that continuum. Stopping her counterpart now became Ghemor's mission, which she did not share with her superiors in the Terran Rebellion. (DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry)

In 2377, Ghemor crossed over to our universe without the knowledge of her Terran superiors, where she tried to stop Taran'atar from joining her counterpart's group on Harkoum. She was hindered by several bounty hunters chasing her, including Jonu, Grauq and Savonigar. She did not succeed in stopping her counterpart at that time, although she was able to help Elias Vaughn and Prynn Tenmei, to whom she explained the situation. (DS9 novel: Warpath)

After being interrogated for a week at Deep Space 9, she was able to convince Captain Kira that she was telling the truth about herself, her counterpart, and Intendant Kira. She helped question the mercenaries captured on Grennokar, and offered to go with Kira to the mirror universe, but was denied in favor of Elias Vaughn. (DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry)

Ghemor later became the Emissary of the Prophets in the mirror universe. (DS9 novel: The Soul Key, ST - Mirror Universe novel: Rise Like Lions)
