For other uses, see Kant.

In the mirror universe, Immanuel Kant was a Terran anti-authoritarian philosopher. (MU novel: The Sorrows of Empire)

History[]

Kant lived in the past at some point before the 23rd century. By that century, Kant's works were censored. In the 2270s decade, David Marcus acquired unabridged texts of banned thinkers. These included tracts of Immanuel Kant and John Stuart Mill. Carol Marcus caught her son reading these texts in the year 2274. David used the 'crypter to prevent Commodore Diego Reyes, commanding officer of Imperial Starbase 47 from detecting his transgression. Doctor Marcus added safety precautions and decided to call this supplemental reading for independent study. (MU novel: The Sorrows of Empire)
