For the intelligence branch of the Klingon Empire, see: Imperial Intelligence.

In the mirror universe, Imperial Intelligence was the name of the intelligence-gathering branch of the Terran Empire in the 22nd century. One of Imperial Intelligence's largest concerns was the tracking of rebel activity against the empire. (ENT - Mirror Universe novel: Age of the Empress)

While Age of the Empress refers to "Imperial Intelligence," the novel, The Sorrows of Empire, refers to Starfleet Intelligence. Whether these are different organizations, or the same organization renamed, is unclear.
