Incursion is the 30th "season" update to STO video game: Star Trek Online, to be released for PC on 12 September 2023. Incursion continues the storyline begun in Unraveled about the threat posed by reality vortices connecting the primary universe with somewhere else.

This season includes the voice talent of Kipleigh Brown as Admiral Kuumaarke, Garrett Wang as Captain Harry Kim and real-world astrophysicist Erin MacDonald as Commander Erin Macdonald of the USS Inouye.

The story continues in the 31st season update, "Both Worlds", released on 23 January 2024.

• "Kings & Queens" story arc
  • "Taken By Surprise": A Borg invasion force emerges from a Reality Vortex at Starbase One. These Borg are different – stronger, ruthless, and more aggressive. Starfleet must use all their might, along with some unexpected help, to repel the Borg forces.
• Task Force Operations:
  • "Resistance of Starbase One": The Borg have launched an attack on Star Base One, and you must see to the evacuation of all personnel in this Five Captain Space TFO.
  • "Guillotine": The Borg are launching the beginnings of an invasion through a massive Reality Vortex. Repel the Borg and close the Vortex in this Five Captain Space TFO.
• Events:
  • "Borg Tesseract": selected content unlocks Adaptation ground set and Starfleet Protostar Uniform.

• (ARC link)/"Announcing Star Trek Online: Incursion!", announces the season, written and published by Mike Fatum on 29 August 2023.
• "Drop the Guillotine!" is a short story about an Alliance Command conference led by Starfleet Fleet Admiral Jorel Quinn and Lieutenant Linnea concerning the threat posed by reality vortices and the Tholian technology needed to contain them.
• "The Prodigy Lock Box!", published on 9 September 2023, introduces the contents of the Prodigy Lock Box, including the Protostar-class temporal science spearhead, Watcher robot kit modules, 2383-era phaser rifle and Type-2 phaser, and Mellanoid slime worm non-combat pets of the varieties Prodigious, Midnight, Dusky, Sunburst and Plasmic.
• "Command the Protostar Temporal Science Spearhead", published on 11 September 2023 by Mike Fatum, provides the stats of the Protostar-class starship and details the reformed living construct console.
• "Command the Shrike!", published on 15 November, introduces the Shrike-class intel juggernaut and establishes Vadic's ship is back in service.
• "Q's Winter Wonderland!", published on 29 November 2023 by Mike Fatum, introduces the rewards for participating in q's Winter Wonderland event. The tier 6 Tamarian Deep Space Cruiser is the grand prize. The Frozen Bat'leth of Dishonor is a mêlée weapon inspired by the icy prison of Spectre of Dishonor in Gre'thor. New clothing include the Mo'kai tunic - a leather tunic of House Mo'Kai, and three ugly sweaters: Tamarian ugly sweater, Tamarian doll ugly sweater and Q Robe ugly sweater.
• "Command the Dauntless II!", published on 4 October, written by Systems Designer Jonathan Herlache, provides the official stats of the Dauntless II-class command science dreadnought, previously showcased on Ten Forward Weekly. The USS Dauntless (NCC-80816) includes a joint directed munition attack console that fired J.D.M.A launch cells.
• "Assimilate. It. All.", published on 4 December, written by Herlache and published by Fatum, introduces the tier 6-rated Borg assimilator dreadnought carrier, based on the Borg assimilator from ST video game: Armada. The Assimilator-class is equipped with frigate-strength assimilation probes, the disassemble and analyze console and targeted excision starship trait.
