Indira Priyadarśinī Gandhi (19 November 1917 - 31 October 1984) was a human woman who lived during the 20th century.

The daughter of the first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, she served in that position herself from 1966 to 1977 and then again from 1980 to 1984, when she was assassinated by two of her Sikh bodyguards. Following her death, her eldest son, Rajiv Gandhi, became Prime Minister.

There were bloody riots in Delhi after her assassination. During the riots, Khan Noonien Singh was attacked because of his Sikh heritage. However, he was saved by Gary Seven. (TOS - The Eugenics Wars novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)

Her son was himself assassinated on 21 May 1991. Gary Seven and Roberta Lincoln suspected that Khan Noonien Singh may have been responsible for his death. (TOS - The Eugenics Wars novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)

Indira City, located on Nehru Colony, was named after her whereas the colony itself was named after her father. Another of the colony's cities, Motilal City, was named after her paternal grandfather. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
