Industrial Light & Magic (or ILM) is a motion picture visual effects company founded by George Lucas in 1975. ILM created visual effects for most of the Star Trek films, and for Star Trek: The Next Generation. They are also credited with several images from the Ships of the Line calendars and the Ships of the Line book.
