The infected Cooperative cube was a 25th century Borg starship, a dreadnought-level tactical cube in Borg Cooperative service in the 2410s decade. Its commanding officer was the liberated Borg-Octanti Meshk. (STO - Delta Quadrant mission: "Alliances")

Service history and disposition

In the year 2410, the Octanti infected this Borg Collective cube with a virus to disrupt its systems. The malfunctioning, disconnected cube arrived in the Russan star system, where negotiations took place between Ambassador Rerrick of the Octanti, Seven of Nine representing the Borg Cooperative, and a Khitomer Alliance representative sent by Rear Admiral Tuvok. Rerrick refused Seven's recommendation to counter the virus. The infected cube attacked the Cooperative, Alliance and Octanti ships but was disabled. When communications were established, Rerrick learned that his brother Meshk was aboard the infected Cooperative cube.

The event enabled the entrance of both the Cooperative and the Octanti into the Delta Alliance, a pact for mutual defense against the Vaadwaur Supremacy. (STO - Delta Quadrant mission: "Alliances")
