The Levodian flu virus

Influenza, commonly referred to as flu, refers to several types of viral infection which effect members of numerous species. Flu symptoms range from mild aches and pains to fatal infections. Treatments for flu include tryptophan-lysine distillate, and when being treated by Doctor Katherine Pulaski, Pulaski's chicken soup. (TNG episode: "The Icarus Factor")

On Earth in the 16th century the Spanish expedition to Mexico led by Hernán Cortés triggered a pandemic when they introduced the flu virus to the New World. (ST - Destiny novel: Mere Mortals)

The USS Voyager was known to have suffered a regular flu season. At every occurrence of this Neelix would become convinced that he was suffering from Toluncan ague - The Doctor prescribed him a placebo to treat his condition. (VOY episode: "Virtuoso")

When in 2254 the Ngultor infected the USS Enterprise with a virus which sapped the ship's energy supplies, Number One characterised the Enterprise as having caught "a bad dose of alien flu". (EV comic: "Flesh of My Flesh")
