Tal Shiar Faeht

A Tal Shiar-operated Faeht-class intel warbird.

In starship classification, the intel warbird was a type of warbird equivalent to intel starship classes. In the early 25th century, this designation usually included referred to nimble starships with a superficially avian appearance. Intel warbirds differed from intel starships by having an artificial quantum singularity as engine core. Originally it included tier 6-rated vessels.[1] Following the Iconian War, ships of this type could be fielded from tier-1 and upgraded gradually. (STO - From the Ashes mission: "Explore the Flotilla")

List of light warbird classes[]

History and variations[]

The Faeht-class warbird was operated by the Tal Shiar in the year 2385. (PIC - Countdown comic: "Issue 3")

The intel warbird classification was used during Operation Delta Rising, when the Alpha Quadrant Alliance powers established themselves in the Delta Quadrant in 2410. The Romulan Republican Force recommissioned the Faeht-class in the Alpha, Beta and Gamma configurations specifically as intel warbirds. (STO - Delta Rising mission: "Escalation")

In 2411, the T'liss-class family of light warbirds was recommissioned as legendary light intel warbirds. (STO website: Legacy: Legendary Light Intel Warbird)
