Interstellar Merchant was a 23rd century news magazine published as a holozine by the UFP/ITA.
History[edit | edit source]
On reference stardate 2/1504, an article in Interstellar Merchant exposed illegal activity in the Organian Treaty Zone by the magazine's publisher in collusion with Orion traders. UFP/ITA Chairman Boris Falsworth demanded the firing of the article's writer, investigative reporter Ozcar Kyng, but editor Jackson McLain refused. Falsworth then fired McLain. Kyng resigned from Interstellar Merchant and brought his notes to a competitor, Galaxy Week. (FASA RPG module: Spacelanes: The Magazine of Interstellar Trade)
