Israel was a nation-state on planet Earth, and a local subdivision of the United Earth government.

History and specifics[]

Khan Noonien Singh, in 2259, claimed that during the Eugenics Wars, Israel abandoned hostilities with its historical rival of Palestine in an ultimately futile attempt to stem the Augments' conquest. (TOS comic: "Khan, Issue 2")

In 2296, former Starfleet Captain Nechama Rabin served in its legislature, the Knesset. (TOS novel: Vulcan's Forge)

Israel's military were the Israel Defense ForcesWP. Its intelligence agency was the Mossad. (TOS - Starfleet Academy novel: The Delta Anomaly, ST novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 2)
