J'lang was a male Klingon sculptor. A student of the famed artist Dolmorr, J'lang was commissioned by Chancellor Martok to design and create a memorial to the allied veterans of the Dominion War on planet Narendra III. He worked with his assistant Perrih.

J'lang was a cousin of Lieutenant Koth of the IKS Tcha'voth. (TNG - The Brave and the Bold, Book Two novella: The Final Artifact)

In late 2376, J'lang was commissioned to sculpt a statue of Gortak, the late governor of the planet Krios. (KE novel: A Burning House)
