The Jabari were a group on an unnamed planet in an alternate universe visited by Doctors Julian Bashir and Elizabeth Lense in late 2376. The Jabari were separatists from the Kornaks, the dominant militaristic society on the planet, and were engaged in a guerrilla war with the Kornak Armed Forces in the years following the global Cataclysm. The Jabari opposed the credit system used by the Kornak to enforce loyalty by rationing food, water, housing, clothing, and medical care. The Jabari also opposed the increasing use of artificial biomedical technologies, believing they risked becoming more machine than living beings.

In 2376, Elizabeth Lense ended up in Jabari custody after her runabout, the USS Missouri, broke apart in the planet's atmosphere and crashed. She became a medic for the Jabari forces under the leadership of a man named Saad, and later took part in a raid against the Rangdron Medical Complex to stop an experimental surgery on Julian Bashir, which the Jabari feared would dangerously increase the Kornaks' medical knowledge. (SCE eBooks: Wounds, Book 1, Wounds, Book 2)

It is unclear whether the Jabari were a group prior to the Cataclysm, of if they formed specifically in response to the Kornaks' post-Cataclysm activities.
