Jaix was a male Catullan who served as an officer in the Federation Starfleet in the 24th century.
History[]
In the early 2380s, Jaix held the rank of ensign and served as the flight controller of the USS New York.
In 2381, Jaix was at the conn when the New York engaged the Borg at Alonis. After the New York was damaged and disabled by the Borg, Jaix was able to prevent the starship from entering the atmosphere of Alonis. (ST - Typhon Pact novel: Rough Beasts of Empire)
