Jakara was a male Dreman dilithium miner in the 24th century. He became trapped in a mine in 2369 when, during an evacuation, one of his teammates, Kajkob, fell and hurt his ankle, and Eijeth stayed behind with him. Eijeth and another teammate, Eijeth, were able to help dig out of the cave-in, connecting with an open mineshaft and allowing in rescue volunteers Sarjenka and Starfleet Lieutenant Lolo. Jakara also shared his packed lunch of keena bread and dried teekir meat with him with three people who had fallen into the mine during the collapse. (SCE eBook: Progress)
