Jamala Mahendra was a Human female who served as an officer in the Federation Starfleet in the 22nd century.
Biography[]
In early 2165, Mahendra held the rank of ensign and was posted to the USS Essex as gamma shift armory officer under Lieutenant Morgan Kelly.
In February, 2166, the Essex was ordered to infiltrate a team of Starfleet advisors to the planet Sauria. Since Lieutenant Kelly was part of that team, Mahendra took over her duties for the next month as armory officer while she was away from the ship.
