Franklin Komack was a Starfleet Flag Officer in the 2260s, sharing a surname with another Admiral Komack (James Komack). In late 2266, Komack was one of the four flag officers making up the court martial of Commodore Diego Reyes onboard Vanguard. Admiral Komack was the only member of the panel to have had been previosly involved with Vanguard, and then only very distantly so. (VAN novel: Open Secrets)
