Jaramillo was a Human man, a crewmember who served in Starfleet in the 23rd century. Jaramillo was assigned to the USS Enterprise's sciences division in the late 2260s.
History[]
In 2268, Jaramillo was one of 16 Enterprise personnel believed to have been exposed to an outbreak of ADF syndrome. Acting chief medical officer Evan Wilson assigned Jaramillo to liaison with Doctor Mickiewicz aboard the hospital ship USS Dr. Margaret Flinn, asking for detailed daily reports for any signs and developing symptoms. Jaramillo initially resented the assignment, but having something useful to do mitigated fears of being infected, and he saluted her before transporting off the Enterprise. (TOS novel: Uhura's Song)
